PLAYDATE: THE SALTY STRAND
About Salty Strand.
The Salty Strand is a fictitious hair salon dreamt up for the cool girls and coastal romantics—the kind who collect sea shells, chase golden hour, and always have a little sand stuck between their toes. She doesn’t actually exist (yet), but her vibe? Immaculate.
Rooted in beachy ease and soft, sunkissed femininity, the branding evokes mermaid-core magic with a touch of sun-bleached nostalgia. Think: salty waves (in your hair and the ocean), hand-drawn shells and florals, and a color palette that feels like warm skin after a long day in the surf.
From its laid-back logo to its dreamy moodboards, The Salty Strand feels more like a lifestyle than a business. A little retro, a little sea-witchy, and totally free-spirited—this fake salon is a love letter to summer days and strands that shine under the sun.
She’s not real, but we kinda wish she was.
